Jay Laga'aia (born September 10, 1963 in Auckland, New Zealand) is an actor. He is most famous for his role as Captain Typho in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. He was also on Xena: Warrior Princess playing the role of Draco.

Laga'aia is famous for his role as Captain Typho in the recent Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. He was also on Xena: Warrior Princess playing the role of Draco.
Laga'aia was a regular in Australian television shows Water Rats, Play School, Surprise Surprise (on the Nine Network), and a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in 2002. He is also well known for his stage productions such as The Lion King.

He has six kids: Jeremy, Matthew, Iosefa, Jessica, Natanielu (Nathaniel) and Georgia. Jay himself comes from a family of 10 with seven siblings. His younger brother, Frank Laga'aia, is part of the ARIA award winning Band, Past To Present/ Ilanda, that is based in Melbourne, Australia.
