Jay Denny (born January 6, 1986 in Los Angeles) is an American professional soccer player. Plying his trade in England, he is a midfielder who currently plays for Conference North club Nuneaton Borough.
His parents are both English, and he has lived in England since 1994. He began his career as a trainee with Stoke City but left in 2005 without making an appearance for the club. He joined League Two's Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer.
Denny started for Shrewsbury on the opening day of the 2005-06 season, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Rochdale. After that, he did not feature regularly for the club - many of his appearances came as susbstitute. He was released from his contract at on April 8, 2006.
Denny made his Nuneaton Borough debut in the Birmingham Senior Cup match against Racing Club Warwick in October 2006.
He has captained USA Under-20s on a number of occasions.
