I live in Jacksonville, Alabama, in the United States, and I've enjoyed the works of Douglas Adams for years. Hence the nickname, Jax42.

[edit] Danball & Wikipedia

When I was a teenager, in 1992, some friends and I invented a sport that, while goofy, was a lot of fun. We called it Danball. When the Internet and the World Wide Web came into common use in 1995, we started a Web site for the game. Almost overnight, the game was widely known beyond our small hometown of Anniston, Alabama.

As the years passed, we grew out of Danball, but it continued to live on the Web. In 2005 I stumbled across a reference to Danball in a Wikipedia entry on invented sport. Within minutes I'd written my first Wikipedia entry.
