Javier Sánchez Broto

Javier Sánchez Broto (born August 25, 1971) is a former Spanish football goalkeeper. He started his career in Real Zaragoza, and played for various Spanish clubs (most notably Villarreal CF and CD Castellón) before heading to Scotland, where he played for Airdrieonians F.C., Livingston F.C. and Celtic F.C..

He left Celtic at the end of the 02/03 season after wanting too much to continue with an extended contract. He returned to Spain with Real Murcia for the 03/04 season, moving on to Getafe for the 04/05 season and Hercules CF of Alicante for the 05/06 season. He is retired after of the 05/06 season.
