Javier Abril Espinoza

Javier Abril Espinoza (America Central, 1967), been Honduran writer in Switzerland. The Herald of Honduras writes for the newspaper and collaborates with some literary magazines of Latin America.

Prize Pablo Neruda (1996), by its book of poetries Of here ahead (1996 - UPNH), and Prize the Story International Mari Paz Ovidi, summoned by Austral the Terra Publishing house of Australia (2005).

Published books: Stories for children (Collection Children Stories); Of the mirrors, (poetry), and An Angel cached in the Hurricane(Publishing Topicornio), story book that deals with the subject the natural disasters caused by hurricanes in Central America and the Caribbean, and portrays, through its personages and situations, the unfavourable human conditions in which people live on that region, with or without such natural tragedies, and the consequent abandonment of the Central American governments.


In Switzerland, Abril Espinoza cultivates, in addition to the sorts of the novel and the story, the cinematographic script and the dramatic art. Different literary works and tests his, have been translated to some of the official languages of the European Union. He is one of the young writers more outstanding of the Central American region.
