Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- mattb @ 2007-03-20T21:32Z
[edit] Re: Removing links added from other users without contact.
Adding external links to multiple articles to a site you are affiliated with can be viewed as spam and is at least a conflict of interest. I encourage you to review those policies as well as WP:EL so you may understand why people are discouraged from adding links to sites they are affiliated with; it smacks of promotion. There are a myriad of test-and-review sites on the Internet, and we cannot link to them all. -- mattb @ 2007-03-26T19:52Z
