He definitely meets the Wikipedia guidelines for notability - I'd wager everyone alive in the 90s (in Britain at least) has heard Spaceman at the very least. rob 20:18, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

- I'm fairly certain it meets the criterion "Has had a charted hit on any national music chart, in at least one large or medium-sized country." from Wikipedia music notability guidelines, since Spaceman was #1 in the UK. -217.43.74.17 13:52, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

- Also agreed. Spaceman was a huge hit. I would say that this article needs to be cleaned up a little bit, though. There's definitely POV here and nothing is mentioned of him making an arse of himself on Brasseye. Phileas 05:36, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
