Jason Starr

Jason Starr (born 1966) is an American author and screenplay writer from New York City. Starr has several crime fiction novels published.
Starr's Tough Luck, a novel published in 2003, was a Barry Award Winner and was a nominee at the Anthony Awards in 2004 for Best Paperback Original. Twisted City won an Anthony for Best Paperback Original in 2005.
Starr is part of a literary circle that includes Ken Bruen, Daniel Woodrell, Scott Phillips, George P. Pelecanos, Dennis Lehane, Bret Easton Ellis, Megan Abbott, and Allan Guthrie.
