From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jason "Spags" Spagnuolo (born August 2, 1984 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays in the position as a right midfielder. He currently plays for Adelaide United in the newly formed Hyundai A-League. He played for Adelaide Super League club Metro Stars during 2005. He is affectionately known as "Flying Mullet" by the Hindmarsh faithful, due to his 'business at the front, party at the back' hair. He is also known as "Spags" by others, simply because of his last name. He is a crowd favourite at Hindmarsh Stadium, with fans often chanting the words "YOU TIGER SPAGS!"

Jason Spagnuolo is said to be the Australian version of Argentinian playmaker Pablo Aimar. Spagnuolo is the same size and build as Aimar and both wear the number 21 shirt.

Jason won the 2006/07 season's Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion Award and the Club Financial Services Player’s Player Award
