Jason Karl

Jason Karl (born 1976)- birthname: Julian Leighton- is a British actor and TV presenter. His television credits include ITV's children's show Knightmare (as a winning contestant in 1988), an episode of the popular paranormal series Ghosthunters concerning Chingle Hall a reputedly haunted house where he lived at the time, and later and most famously in 2002 he joined the crew of LivingTV's hit show Most Haunted, where he served as paranormal investigator/co-presenter for the first series. He has also appeared in several films and presented shows in Belgium, Holland, the USA and Germany.

On leaving Most Haunted he founded his own television company with several industry professionals who left Most Haunted at the same time and was involved in numerous other television productions, with his companies: first Talisman TV, and later Pure TV. He left Most Haunted to take the role of anchor presenter of ITV's Haunted Live show and subsequently has presented series in France, USA and Belgium. He currently (2005) appears on satellite channels as a television presenter and has 4 books and 6 DVDs in print.

He currently (2006) guest presents with Shopping Channel QVC and is hosting his own series on BBC Radio Lancashire, called 'The Ghost Zone'. He has 7 books commissioned for release over the next 2 years with New Holland Publishers, Carnegie and Countryside Books, and writes for several magazines including Prediction and Its' Fate! He lives in a rural farmhouse with his gay partner in North Lancashire, where he also dabbles in property developing, UK.
