Jason 'Jay' James is the current bassist in the metalcore band Bullet for My Valentine and can also play the drums. He was born on January 13st 1981 in Bridgend, Wales, UK, where he now owns a two-bedroom house which cost about £80,000. He also provides screaming vocals for most songs. Jason currently plays a Sandberg Basic Series bass which he can be seen using on the band's DVD release, "Poison-Live At Brixton". Previously, he used an Ibanez EDC bass. He is Kevin Crandle's replacement.
