Jason Estrada

Jason Moses Estrada (born November 30, 1980) is a boxer who represented the United States at the 2004 Olympic Games in the super heavyweight division. In 2003 he won the gold medal at the Pan American Games.

Known as "Big Six", Estrada turned professional in 2004 and won his first seven fights before losing a lackluster decision to undefeated Travis Walker. Although he has limited power, his boxing ability has enabled him to easily outbox the majority of his competition thus far.

Estrada's results as a United States super heavyweight representative at the 2004 Athens Olympics were: Defeated Ma'afu Hawke (Tonga) 30-11 Lost to Michel Lopez (Cuba) 7-21

In addition to his Olympic accomplishments, Estrada's other amateur highlights include:

  • Gold medalist at the 2003 Panamerican Games
  • Three time United States amateur super heavyweight champion (2001, 2002, 2003)
