Jason Dearborn is a Saskatchewan Party MLA of the Saskatchewan Legislature.

He was elected in the riding of Kindersley in a by-election in 2002 and re-elected in the Saskatchewan General Election of 2003.

Recently he announced that he will not be seeking re-election. Bill Boyd, a founding member of the Saskatchewan Party and the constituency's previous MLA, has been nominated by party members to run in the next election in the constituency of Kindersley.

He gained notoriety for nominating, in jest, at a public meeting in February 2005, the Premier of Saskatchewan, Lorne Calvert, to be shot for implementing a controversial plan for restructuring school divisions. He apologized for his remarks, and was stripped of his critic responsibilities for a period of time, [1] although he was later returned to the Saskatchewan Party's shadow cabinet.
