Jason Ogden Buck was a star defensive lineman for Brigham Young University, winning the Outland Trophy in 1986. He was taken with the 17th pick of the first round of the 1987 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. During his four years with the team, he was reasonably solid but unspectacular, with six sacks in the 1988 season as well as the 1989 season. He moved to the Washington Redskins in 1991. His career there was less accomplished, although he did earn a Super Bowl ring in the team's 37-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVI.
He retired after the 1993 season.
