Jason Beckford

Jason Beckford (born 14 February 1970 in Manchester) is a former striker with Manchester City, Birmingham City, Millwall and Northampton Town. Beckford's career was ended prematurely by injury and he arrived at Mossley after coaching Bolton Wanderers' Academy side. He was appointed assistant manager in June 2002 and, following Ally Pickering's sudden departure in July 2003 he was appointed team manager.
He is the younger brother of Darren Beckford who also played for Manchester City at the same time.
