Jason A. Miller

Jason Alan Miller (born 24 July 1976) is an American rabbi, an adherent of the Conservative Movement, the spiritual leader of Congregation Agudas Achim in Columbus, Ohio, and a proponent of the Synaplex model of synagogue programming on Shabbat.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, he graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University in 1998 with a degree in International Relations and a specialization from the Jewish Studies Program. He was ordained a rabbi at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, where he was the first Gladstein Fellow. He also earned a master's degree from the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education. Miller served as Associate Director of the University of Michigan Hillel Foundation from 2004-2006. A strong advocate for Jewish camping, he has worked at Camp Ramah for several summers and in many different capacities.

Together with Rabbi Neil Gillman, he edited the website Torah From Terror, which is a compilation of sermons delivered by rabbis on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur immediately following the September 11, 2001 attacks.
