Japeth is a fictional character, specifically a singing mountain goat, from the movie Hoodwinked. He is voiced by Benjy Gaither. He was apparently cursed by a witch 37 years ago, and has to "sing everything he says", but we quickly find out he doesn't after Red Puckett asks him "Everything?" and he replies "That's right". However, he sings everything after that. Japeth lives in "Pecos Mining Co Outpost 23", and has access to a series of mining tunnels.

Red comes across his mountain shack on her journey up the mountain, and Japeth helps her by taking her to her Granny's house, via a mountain cart "rollercoaster".

At the end of the film, Japeth is put in charge of delivering Granny Puckett's Goodies, after Red joins the Happily Ever After Agency.

Japeth has a vast array of horns that can be removed and exchanged so that he is always prepared for any situation. Some of them can be seen hanging in his mountain shack. They include:
