Yamagumo (山雲) was a Asashio-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name means "Mountain Clouds" (White Clouds in the Hills).

On 25 October 1944, Yamagumo escorted the Southern Force commanded by Admiral Nishimura Shoji into the Battle of Surigao Strait. Torpedoed by USS McDermut (DD-677) in Surigao Strait (10°25′N 125°23′E), she blew up and sank, apparently with all hands.
