Category:Japanese children's writers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Japanese children's writers are either writers of Japanese ethnicity, working primarily in Japan, or primarily in the Japanese language, and writing primarily for an audience of children. Historical Japanese names, especially, can be quite complex, where some people may have multiple names, or they might change their first name, last name or both names at different stages in their life. Writers of Japanese ancestry or origin may be referred to by a different name when living in or published in another country. Furthermore, some people also have professional names, such as the haiku poets who choose haigo or pen names. For further information see the Japanese names article. In general the family name (or clan name) is listed first, followed by the given name. Note that this differs from the ordering used in many other parts of the world.
