[edit] Spurious edits by anonymous contributor User:88.108.227.2
Anonymous contributor User:88.108.227.2 has been editing out the external link to Anthony Malloy's Jane Gazzo page ("Unofficial Jane Gazzo tracking thread post 6 Music") from the article on Jane Gazzo. Unless there are some obvious, rational reasons for doing so, which the contributor can defend in this discussion before doing so, and under scrutiny of the Wikipedia community and editors, which at this point seems unlikely. But User:88.108.227.2 should speak up if 88.108.227.2 has Wikipedia-oriented rule objections. User:88.108.227.2 has done this three times inexplicably in rapid succession. It appears to be vandalism. The IP address is located somewhere in England. Thanks. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc 17:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- It would be nice if User:88.108.227.2 would explain why the link was removed.
- It is a blog entry, and justifying the removal might not be hard. I've left it out of the article for the moment, and invited 82 to discuss.

I'd be in favour of keeping it in, if it's at all possible. I am not sure why User:88.108.227.2 continues this unexplained bit and refuses to discuss it. If it's because it's a blog, then so be it, Rich. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc 13:07, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] More unverifiable possibly spurious edits?
Anonymous editor User:88.108.130.43 just added this about Jane Gazzo's current work: "She also presents ... in the UK as well as the 'Download' in-flight radio show on Emiritz [sic] Airlines [sic]." We have no information that this is the case, nor does any search engine show it. Also, there is only "Emirates Airline" flying out of Dubai. A "whois" shows that User:88.108.130.43 might be the above editor, User:88.108.227.2, but that is not provable. If anyone can legitimately verify that Jane Gazzo is presenting an in-flight show on Emirates Airlines, please show the evidence here. We are all open to encyclopedic proof. Thanks. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc 18:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- The importance of WP:CITE... Anyway, found a reference digging on the EA web site. Rich Farmbrough 08:10 23 June 2006 (GMT).
Excellent, Rich ! Thanks very much. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc 13:18, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
