[edit] What kind of singer?

Having found my way to this page from the Wiki-Obituary, and knowing nothing about Mr. Danielsen, I have found that this article has one major lapse: it doesn't describe what type of singer he was. Was he a pop singer? Did he sing Opera? Jazz? Reggae? Industrial metal?

As a layperson, I can say that this article didn't answer the most basic questions posed by someone who is not familiar with the topic, already.

Jan Werner was a tenor pop singer whose grand voice added a classical and important sound to the songs he recorded. His range was ledgendary. He could move from low tenor to falsetto soprano and hold the high notes long and pure. His last release "Singer of Songs" will be recognized internationaly as a masterpiece as word of his life and death travels.
