From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jannero Pargo (born October 22, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois) is a professional basketball player with the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets [1]. He has also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors and the Chicago Bulls. He played collegiately for the University of Arkansas after transfering from Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas.

A rarely-seen player known for his timely 3-point shooting, Pargo played a big role in Chicago's first round playoff appearance in 2005 against the Washington Wizards. He hit a 3-pointer with 5 seconds to play to tie the game after the Bulls trailed by 10 points with a minute remaining, Pargo buried three 3-pointers to lead the comeback only to lose on the buzzer to Gilbert Arenas' jump shot.

His younger brother Jeremy Pargo is a sophomore guard for Gonzaga University.
