Janey Harper

Jane Elizabeth Laura Harper is a fictional character in the British sitcom My Family, who is always known as Janey Harper. She is portrayed by Daniela Denby-Ashe.

Harper is the only daughter of the family and is known to be rather shallow as a person. She becomes pregnant with baby Kenzo at the age of 19 and is a single mother thereafter. Despite having a child, she likes dating other men with the purpose of the occasional coitus. She also married Ches Rochester, a man old enough to be her father, but asked for a divorce on her wedding day.

She temporarily left the cast in series 4 after going to Manchester University to study Communications in series 3, from where she drops out during the fifth series and returns to live near the rest of her family.
