Janette Carter (born 1923, died 22 January 2006) was the last surviving child of A.P. and Sara Carter, of Carter Family musical fame. She had three children; Rita, Dale, and Don. Rita currently lives in Hiltons (Maces Springs), Virginia and runs The Carter Family Fold.
