Janet Weaver

Janet Weaver (born 1963 in Ooltewah, Tennessee) is the executive editor of The Tampa Tribune, a position she has held since July 12, 2004. Before working at the Tribune, she had over a decade of print journalism experience, and was the dean of faculty of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida from November 2003 until relinquishing her duties to run the Tribune in July 2004.
