Jane Turner

Jane Turner (born 7 June 1961, Melbourne) is an Australian actor, comedian and Logie Award winning Comedy writer.
Turner has appeared in many popular Australian TV programs, namely Prisoner (aka Prisoner Cell Block H) in a straight dramatic role, with comedy roles in sketch comedy programs The D-Generation, Fast Forward, Full Frontal, Big Girl's Blouse and Something Stupid. In Fast Forward Jane Turner played such roles as

In the 2000s Jane Turner has received accolades for her performance in Kath & Kim, an ABC comedy series which she created, wrote, produced and starred in with her long time friend and collaborator, Gina Riley. Kath & Kim has since become the most successful ABC syndicated show in Australian television history. Turner played Kath, one of the leading roles in the show and Prue, an extra in the show who appears in some episodes as a shop keeper at Fountain Gate.
