Jane M. Orient is a professor of clinical medicine at the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine in the United States. She is a specialist in internal medicine. Dr. Orient is the executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). She is also leading a national effort to increase the amount of free enterprise and reduce socialism in medicine.

Orient has disputed the reality of human-caused global warming and the relationship between CFCs and depletion of the ozone layer. [1].
