Jane O'Brien

Jane O'Brien is an American comedy television writer and producer. Her writing credits include The Simpsons and Cybill. She was a producer of Futurama.

She is one of six children in a Roman Catholic family. Her father, Dr. Thomas O'Brien, was a research physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and an associate professor at Harvard Medical School. Her mother, Ruth Reardon O'Brien, is a former well-known lawyer at the Boston law firm of Ropes & Gray. Her brother, Conan O'Brien, is host of the popular late night NBC talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
