Jan Zahradil

Jan Zahradil (born on 30 March 1963 in Prague) is a Czech politician and Member of the European Parliament with the Civic Democratic Party, Member of the Bureau of the European Democrats and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Development.
He is a substitute for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, substitute for the Delegation to the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee.

- 1999: Vice-Chairman of the Committee for European Integration of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
- 2002: Representative of the Czech Republic at the Convention on the Future of Europe
- 2001: Vice-Chairman of ODS (Civic Democratic Party)
- 2002-2004: First Vice-Chairman of ODS
- Head of the Czech national delegation in the EPP-ED Group
