Jan Vriend

Jan Vriend (born 1938 in Benningbroek) is a Dutch classical music composer, conductor and pianist.
He won the Prize for Composition of the Conservatoire of Amsterdam (1967), the Schnittger Organ Prize (1966) for his composition Herfst (Dutch for Autumn) and the Gaudeamus Competition for composers with Huantan. (1970)
