Jan Müller (born February 1970) is a trance music producer from Germany most famous for being part of the X-Dream trance project.

Jan came from a very musical family. His grandmother on his father's side was a violin player in a symphony, and his grandmother on the mother's side played piano and sang opera. Müller's mother was skilled in playing 4 different instruments. At a young age he learned how to play piano and bass guitar. At the age of 14, he learned computer programming.

After meeting with Marcus Maichel and forming the X-Dream project, the duo has released dozens of singles and 7 full-length albums since 1993.

Jan met Ariel in 1999 at the Burning Man festival, after which they were shortly married and had a child. Together they formed the band Prime Suspect, whose first album is due out in the fall of 2005. Allegedly the album will feature guitar work from Ariel's friend, East Bay Ray (Dead Kennedys).

Besides being a musician, Jan is also an alleged computer nerd, and is responsible for designing and maintaining the website of his record label Gravity Plus Records.
