Jan Jozef Alfons Franciscus ("Jan") Krekels (born August 26, 1947 in Sittard) is a retired cyclist from The Netherlands. He became Olympic champion of the Team 100k Time Trial in the 1968 Oympics along with Joop Zoetemelk, René Pijnen and Fedor den Hertog. He also won the 19th Stage of the Tour de France in 1971 and the prologue of the famous Paris-Nice competition in 1970. He retired from professional cycling in 1978.
