In this position, she traveled across Canada to visit libraries and promote library science policy to Canadian decision-makers. She was also an assistant curator for a children's books exhibit at Library and Archives Canada in 2003. Cellucci is a member of the University of British Columbia's Presidential Advisory Council on University Libraries.

Cellucci left Ottawa in 2005 when her husband stepped down as ambassador and the two returned to Massachusetts. She was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as a member of National Commission for Libraries and Information Science. She continues her duties at the University of British Columbia.

Cellucci and her husband have two daughters, Kate and Anne.
