Jan Borysewicz (born April 17, 1955, in Wrocław, Poland) is the co-founder and guitar player for Lady Pank, one of the most successful Polish rock bands. He's also "the brains" behind their music as he composes most of their music. He's also remembered for an incident when he pulled out his penis on stage while drunk. He is considered to be the Polish Jimi Hendrix as he can play with both hands as well as with the guitar behind his head or with his teeth. He became known in the 70s as a guitar player for Izabela Trojanowska and Budka Suflera. Jan Borysewicz formed Lady Pank in spring of 1982 and he also designed the band's logo. He had a hidden heart attack in 1986 at the age of 30 and recently, his second one, on December 15, 2005.
[edit] The penis incident
On June 1, 1986, Lady Pank played a show for the children on International Children's Day. Borysewicz was already intoxicated and at one point of the show, he pulled out his penis on the stage, in front of shocked parents with children. After this incident, the band took a break for a while.
