[edit] Biagio Caliri
A tag has been placed on Biagio Caliri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Fan-1967 05:42, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, we don't keep articles around for days waiting for sources. When and if you can produce sources that show this person satisfies Wikipedia:Notability (people) would be the time to recreate the article. However, "local legends" practically never meet the standards. Some guy known around a small town for knowing a lot of movies? Hardly likely to be reported in major media, is he? This says there are no references on him that we can access. Fan-1967 05:49, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

- You want to read Wikipedia:Verifiability as well as Wikipedia:Reliable Sources. If this person has only been written up in some local papers that aren't online, quite frankly, that's a pretty clear indication of non-notability. I'll repeat what I posted above. "Local legends" are not considered notable anywhere else. Every town's got some local characters, of no interest to anyone outside the town. I don't know how I can make that clearer. - Ok - i get you - are you just a wikipedian or admin? what? because you seem to know a lot about what you're doing.--James Naeger 06:00, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Not an admin. I've just been here awhile. You might want to try browsing through the myriad links above. I know it looks daunting, but you could get a better idea of what goes on. Well, it's 2007 now, so I'm going to bed now. Fan-1967 06:02, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

- The usual way to go is find an established article on a similar topic and use it as a model. You may also want to read the Manual of Style for basic guidelines. Fan-1967 06:17, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:BiagioCaliri.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:BiagioCaliri.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:05, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
