James Smith is a citizen of Newfoundland, Canada, and is an undergraduate student at MUN, where he is pursuing a B.Sc. in biology with a minor in Philosophy. He is also an Officer Cadet in the Canadian Naval Reserve. His full name is James Rodney Richard Smith, abrreviated at James R.R. Smith, or JRR Smith, a play on JRR Tolkien.
