James Daniel McCollum (born December 26, 1983) is Sergeant in the United States Army who is stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii with Alpha Company, 225th Brigade Support Battalion, 25th Infantry Division. He deployed to Iraq in 2003 & 2005 with the 1st Corps Support Command in support of Operation Iraq Freedom.

McCollum was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Germantown High School and graduated in 2001. In the summer of 2001 he joined the U.S. Army and attended Basic Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
