Will Adamsan please contact me at mbalter@compuserve.com so that I can send him a copy of the book he does not seem to think exists? The Goddess and the Bull has been available in bookstores in the United States since before Christmas, as well as available online at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, even though the "official" pub date is January 10, 2005 as publishers often postdate the actual appearance of a book to insure that it is available everywhere. The first three chapters of this book are about Mellaart's dig at Catalhoyuk and contain the ONLY detailed account of his life and work in print.
