In the first paragraph of Senior Staff and Command section, someone needs to fill in what regiment. It can't just be "the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Div". —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.17.65.50 (talkcontribs). at 04:13, April 19, 2006

  • Thanks for pointing out the omission. It was 3/9. I've added it to the paragraph. —ERcheck @ 04:27, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What happened?

The first paragraph is all mixed up!Steven 19:47, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jones' supposed "seniority" to Hagee

"General Jones is one of two serving Marine Corps four-star general officers who outrank the current Commandant of the Marine Corps (General Michael Hagee) in terms of seniority and time-in-grade - the other being Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Peter Pace."

How so? General Michael Hagee commissioned two years earlier than Jones. If someone cannot confirm this I will remove it. By the way, General Pace was commissioned from USNA the year before Hagee graduated. --ProdigySportsman 04:22, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
72.75.104.231 vandalized the page. According to his official biography, General Jones actually received his commission in 1967, the year before Hagee. Morinao 20:32, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
