"Glassman is an American libertarian editorialist." What is libertarian about him? Intangible 14:40, 11 September 2005 (UTC)

well removed the first libertarian label to conservative, and clearified the next mention of it. Intangible 21:58, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dow 36000?

Was Glassman wrong about this? I've not read his book, but two questions come to mind.

  • Did he predict that the Dow would rise from its 1999 levels without any intervening recessions?, and
  • By when did he predict that the Dow would hit 36000?

Without knowing the answers to these, I am reluctant to say that he has been proven wrong. 72.154.88.254 06:00, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Glassman has moved on and is now editing a new magazine at The American Enterprise Institute, called The American Magazine. I am his deputy (managing editor of the magazine) and therefore, per Wikipedia guidelines, I will not make changes to his article or introduce a new article about the magazine. However, I suggest that someone should consider doing so. Also, he is now a Senior Fellow rather than a Resident Fellow.

Respectfully,
