Jammerbugt municipality

As of January 1, 2007 Jammerbugt municipality will, as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), come into existence as a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Denmark. It will consist of the (what are currently existing, but on January 1, 2007) former municipalities of Brovst, Fjerritslev, Pandrup, and Aabybro municipalities. This will create a municipality with an area of 863 km² and a total population of 38,787 (2007). The new municipality will belong to the new Region Nordjylland ("North Jutland Region").
