Jamie Samuelsen

Jamie Samuelsen is a Detroit sports radio broadcaster. Originally from the San Francisco area, Samuelsen graduated from Northwestern University in 1993. He lives in Troy, Michigan and is married to Channel 7 News Anchor Christy McDonald.

Samuelsen began his radio career with the Illinois Radio Network in Chicago. He has been working for WDFN since it became an all-sports station in 1994. He began by reading sports updates for host Ike Griffin. During the mid-90s, Samuelsen began co-hosting the midday show with former WDFN personality Gregg Henson.
In 2002, Samuelsen began co-hosting the morning show on WDFN with Greg Brady. Since then, "The Jamie and Brady Show" has continued to be the only local sports morning show in Detroit.
