Jamie Owen (born 1967) is a Welsh radio and television presenter

Owen was born in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire and lived in the nearby town of Pembroke Dock. He was educated at Christ College, Brecon and studied journalism at Cardiff University.
Owen joined the BBC in 1986 and worked on BBC Radio 4 as a newsreader and announcer. He has been a main presenter on BBC Wales's flagship news programme, BBC Wales Today since 1994 as well as presenting a radio show on BBC Radio Wales. He has also presented Songs Of Praise, BBC Breakfast News and BBC Radio 4's Shipping Forecast.
Owen is also a talented author with three books published by Gomer: "Magic Islands", "Magic Harbours" and "Welsh Journeys". These were filmed for the BBC and transmitted in 2002, 2003 and 2005 respectively, all now available on DVD. A second series of "Welsh Journeys" began on 31st October 2006. A book of the series was published on 21st November 2006.
Away from the BBC, Jamie has co-founded Aspect Television, one of Wales' largest independent programme makers for the BBC. Their most recent work has included "What Ron Said'"’, shown on BBC One and "So What Do You Do All Day"'’, a business series shown on BBC Two.
