[edit] Entertainment
The man once described as ‘The ugliest solo professional performer in Australia today’ has muscled his way to the cutting edge of TV, Radio and Stage with an amazing flair for consistency, creativity and relentless self-preservation.
[edit] Radio
For the last 15 years, he’s been the comedy mouthpiece of the number one radio breakfast show in Brisbane.
Dunn was an original member of the B105 Morning Crew, along with Donna Lynch and Ian Skippen when the station was first launched on the FM band in 1990.
The on-mic personalities of Agro and Dunn are almost indistinguishable. Whereas originally Dunn performed on B105 as Agro, over time he came to be credited as himself, and has become an enduring media star in his own right.
On September 21st of 2005, Dunn announced he was leaving B105 and in 2006, he and Agro began to present the breakfast show on Sunshine Coast FM radio station "Zinc 96" .
[edit] Television
For two decades Jamie has been the voice and personality of Australian Televisions’ most successful childrens’ character Agro, winning 10 TV Week Logie awards.
[edit] Other Performance
Jamie’s early performing days were spent as a highly successful singer song-writer.
His formative years were spent in Australia and the United States, honing musical skills that were to become invaluable to his commercial pop music career.
As a performer of immense self-focus, it should be no surprise to learn that Jamie’s only number-one hit success came with writing a song about himself: Jamie Come Home.
When you see Jamie performing it’s not hard to argue that, when it comes to comedy, size does matter.
