Jamie Brown (baseball)

Jamie Monroe Brown (born March 31, 1977 in Meridian, Mississippi) is a former relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. He batted and threw right handed.

Brown played briefly for the Boston Red Sox in the 2004 season. In four games pitched, he posted a 5.87 ERA with six strikeouts and four walks in 7-1/3 innings without a decision.

Following his majors career, Brown has played for the Hanshin Tigers of the Japanese Central League (2005) and the Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization (2006).
