James Whitmore Jr.

James Whitmore Jr. (born October 24, 1948 in New York City, USA) is an actor and television director best known for acting on the television program Baa Baa Black Sheep.

Whitmore has had recurring guest-starring roles on the TV series The Rockford Files, Hunter and The Pretender. He has directed numerous episodes of such TV series as Hunter, Beverly Hills, 90210, The Pretender, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Quantum Leap, Dawson's Creek, 24, Cold Case, Dead Like Me, NCIS and Jericho.

James is the son of well-known actor James Whitmore.
