James Reynolds (correspondent)

James Reynolds (born 1974) is the BBC's Beijing correspondent. From 1998 to 2001, he was the BBC's South America correspondent, based in Santiago, during which time he reported on the arrest of General Pinochet in Chile.

From 2001 to 2006 he was based in the Middle East and primarily reported on stories in Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

In 2002, he won the Royal Television Society's Young Journalist of the Year award.
