James Quinn (born Stephen James Quinn on December 15, 1974 in Coventry) is an English-born Northern Irish footballer who currently plays for Northampton Town. He has played for eleven clubs in his career. Quinn, a forward, is also a Northern Ireland international, despite a poor goals return (4 goals in 50 games).

On December 21, 2006, a poor start to the season saw Quinn placed on the transfer list alongside Andy Kirk and Scott McGleish.[1] After a steady start to his career with Northampton, where goals were not a regularity, following the pattern of his whole career, Quinn looks to be already on his way out and is in the process of finding the twelfth club of his career. He is currently on loan at Scunthorpe United.
