Major James Sproule Myles (died 13 February 1956) was an officer in the British army and an Irish politician who served for twenty years in Dáil Éireann as an independent TD.
A retired Major in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, Major Myles was elected to Dáil Éireann at his first attempt, in the 1923 general election, as an independent (non-party) candidate in the new Donegal constituency.
He was re-elected six times, switching to Donegal East when the 8-seat constituency was divided at the 1937 general election. He lost his seat at the 1943 election, and was defeated again at the 1944 general election.
