James Raleigh Mouton was born on December 19, 1968 in Denver, Colorado. He was a former Major League Baseball outfielder who primarily played for the Houston Astros. In addition, the lesser known Mouton also played for the San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos and Milwaukee Brewers.

In eight seasons, he played 723 games, and hit .246, 18 home runs, and 148 runs batted in.
